Ingredients

  • 6 cups Fruity Pebbles cereal
  • 4 cups mini marshmallows
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract optional
  • Extra marshmallows optional for extra gooey bars

Equipment

  • Large saucepan
  • spatula
  • 9x9 inch baking pan
  • Parchment paper
  • measuring cups

Method

  1. Line a 9×9 inch baking pan with parchment paper and lightly grease it to prevent sticking.
  2. In a large saucepan over low heat, melt the butter until fully melted.
  3. Add the mini marshmallows to the melted butter and stir continuously until they are completely melted and smooth.
  4. Stir in the vanilla extract for extra flavor.
  5. Remove the saucepan from heat and gently fold in the Fruity Pebbles cereal until everything is evenly coated.
  6. Transfer the mixture into the prepared pan and gently press it down using a spatula or parchment paper.
  7. Allow the bars to cool at room temperature for 20-30 minutes until firm.
  8. Cut into squares or rectangles and enjoy your colorful Fruity Pebbles cereal bars.

Notes

Press the mixture lightly into the pan. Pressing too hard can make the bars dense.
• Add extra marshmallows while mixing for extra gooey cereal bars.
• Let the bars cool completely before cutting for clean slices.
• Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
