Prep Ingredients - Dice onion, mince garlic, and drain and rinse beans. Slice lime if using fresh.
Layer Ingredients in Crockpot - Place chicken breasts in the bottom. Add beans, onion, garlic, green chilies, cumin, oregano, salt, pepper, and chicken broth.
Cook - Cover and cook on low 6-8 hours or high 3-4 hours, until chicken is cooked through and tender.
Shred Chicken - Remove chicken, shred with forks, then return to crockpot and stir.
Add Creaminess - Stir in cream cheese if using, until melted and smooth. Adjust seasoning as needed.
Finish & Serve - Squeeze lime juice over the chili and sprinkle with cilantro if desired. Serve warm.
